Senior Citizen Center - Senior Citizen Center Annual Resident 2025
The Senior Center is open Mondays and Thursdays from 10am-2pm. This is a wonderful place to bring a friend or make one. It is an opportunity to get out of the house, share good company and experience many wonderful activities and events. Participants play cards, Scabble, Pokeno, make crafts, and more. Coffee/tea and snacks are served at no charge.All are encouraged to bring lunch. In addition to regular center activities, their are seasonal parties and tripsInterested Seniors should register with the Rec Office. Participation in the Center is free to Beekman residents 62 and over. Individuals under 62 and any non residents pay a fee of $3.00 per day.

Chair YogaBeekman residents ONLYChair Yoga classes are designed to increase flexibility, balance and strength through range of motion exercises, stretching and relaxation practices. Senior Chair Yoga will incorporate all of the aspects of a gentle practice while either seated or standing holding on to the chair for stability. It is modified for this group to increase strength, flexibility and reduce stress, while practicing in a safe supportive environment. The benefits of yoga as we age are endless. Whether you are big, small, old, young, serious, goofy, flexible or not. Yoga begins where YOU are. Not where you were yesterday or where your neighbor is. Every BODY is different and you can find YOUR best Self in Yoga. Our instructor is Toni Caravello , who has been teaching yoga since 2004. She celebrates the beauty of individuality; students come to class with individual goals, strengths and challenges. She strives to create an atmosphere where all feel welcome, safe and supported. Chair YogaBeekman residents ONLYChair Yoga classes are designed to increase flexibility, balance and strength through range of motion exercises, stretching and relaxation practices. Senior Chair Yoga will incorporate all of the aspects of a gentle practice while either seated or standing holding on to the chair for stability. It is modified for this group to increase strength, flexibility and reduce stress, while practicing in a safe supportive environment. The benefits of yoga as we age are endless. Whether you are big, small, old, young, serious, goofy, flexible or not. Yoga begins where YOU are. Not where you were yesterday or where your neighbor is. Every BODY is different and you can find YOUR best Self in Yoga. Our instructor is Toni Caravello , who has been teaching yoga since 2004. She celebrates the beauty of individuality; students come to class with individual goals, strengths and challenges. She strives to create an atmosphere where all feel welcome, safe and supported. Senior Chair Yoga - Chair Yoga 2025 Residents
Chair YogaBeekman residents ONLYChair Yoga classes are designed to increase flexibility, balance and strength through range of motion exercises, stretching and relaxation practices. Senior Chair Yoga will incorporate all of the aspects of a gentle practice while either seated or standing holding on to the chair for stability. It is modified for this group to increase strength, flexibility and reduce stress, while practicing in a safe supportive environment. The benefits of yoga as we age are endless. Whether you are big, small, old, young, serious, goofy, flexible or not. Yoga begins where YOU are. Not where you were yesterday or where your neighbor is. Every BODY is different and you can find YOUR best Self in Yoga. Our instructor is Toni Caravello , who has been teaching yoga since 2004. She celebrates the beauty of individuality; students come to class with individual goals, strengths and challenges. She strives to create an atmosphere where all feel welcome, safe and supported. Communication is essential! Everyone is welcome! Although, advice from your physician is never a bad idea.

Senior Citizen Center - Senior Citizen Center Annual Resident 2025
The Senior Center is open Mondays and Thursdays from 10am-2pm. This is a wonderful place to bring a friend or make one. It is an opportunity to get out of the house, share good company and experience many wonderful activities and events. Participants play cards, Scabble, Pokeno, make crafts, and more. Coffee/tea and snacks are served at no charge.All are encouraged to bring lunch. In addition to regular center activities, their are seasonal parties and tripsInterested Seniors should register with the Rec Office. Participation in the Center is free to Beekman residents 62 and over. Individuals under 62 and any non residents pay a fee of $3.00 per day.

Adult Soul Flow Yoga class Are Monday or Thursday from 6:15pm-7:15pm at The Beekman Rec Community Center. Must preregister. Please see class below for specific datesIn this class, we will vinyasa a bit in slow, easy flowing movements on the breath such as sun salutations with standing poses in between, followed by sweet seated stretches and a blissful yoga nidra.
