The Town of Beekman will be celebrating The 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, known as the Semiquincentennial or "America 250"
Events will take place throughout the year, with many events already in the planning stages.
Check back each month for that month's event.
Tentative Events - Subject to Change
- November - 250th celebration of the US Marine and US Navy, unveiling of the Gold Star Family monument at Remeberance Park . Sunday November 9th at 1:00pm
- December - Happy Birthday American Holiday ornament release, Placing Veteran wreaths at Beekman Cemetery, Saturday December 13th
- January - American History Trivia - Friday January 9th
- February - Souperbowl/Chili Cook Off with music by Alex Prizgintas - Saturday February 7th
- March - American as Apple PI - March 14th
- April - Super Hero/Bike Rodeo - April 25th
- May - Art Installation - May 16th
- June - Final Birthday Celebration - June 26th
