Google Earth
Beekman is full of Historical, Civic, and Recreational points of interest.  Many of these have been plotted on Google Earth along with descriptions and photos. More will be added as time allows! So keep checking back! 

Open the Love Your Town file in Google Earth on a computer, smart phone or tablet and explore our Town! And if you want more fun, complete and submit the Town Scavenger Hunt!

The pins placed there by Recreation staff are coded in the following colors:




  • Orange=Historic


  • Green=Recreation


  • Blue=Civic


  • Other Colors were existing on Google Earth and could not be removed




Please know the coding is somewhat subjective as a pin can represent more than one of the above categories. For example, there are historic sites in recreational areas.  This is by no means an exhaustive list of all the wonderful points of interest in Beekman, but it is a beginning to explore!
