Waterfront Membership

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

The Recreation Department would like to help residents include waterfront activities as an integral part of their summer plans. Waterfront Memberships are offered to assist community members who would like to spend a great part of their summer at the beach! If you plan to spend many days at the beach, take swim lessons* or join the swim team*, a Waterfront Membership can decrease the cost of those activities!
*Subject to staff availability

Unlike most other Park swim areas Beekman Rec is chlorinated!

New for 2024  Mini Golf is INCLUDED in your membership!

A “plake” combines the best part of a pool and the best part of a lake!
  • Fresh water is continually drawn from a creek into the swim area
  • Like a pool, the water is filtered and chlorinated
  • The bottom of the lake is bulldozed and cleaned each spring with new stone and sand spread eliminating muck and weeds (Thank you Beekman Highway Department)
  • Like a lake there is a sandy beach which the kids LOVE to build and play in
  • Each weekday there is a sand castle contest

Value of Waterfront Membership
  • Use of the lake & beach: Enjoy your summer in Beekman this summer getting to know your neighbors as you enjoy the summer sun, watch your kids build castles in the sand or swim in the lake.
  • Daily sand castle contests
  • Access to Guest Day Passes: when guests come with you the fee is only $10/person instead of $12 for residents and $15 for non-residents

  • It is part of Recreation Park which boasts two playgrounds, swings, a sand volleyball court, 18 hole mini golf course, horseshoe pits, BBQ grills, a gaga pit, a pavilion with restrooms and changing rooms, many picnic tables and an ice cream shack.
