Beekman Rec Beach is hiring Lifeguards, Swim Instructors and a Swim Team Coach! Apply here!

If you are interested in applying, but not yet certified, we can help with the cost!  You pay upfront, and at the end of each summer the Rec (per Work Agreement) gives you back up to $500 towards the cost of the class! The cert is good for 2 years. 
Be sure the class you register for is “WATERFRONT Lifeguard” or you will not be able to guard a lake. 
Please note that most classes are “blended learning” and require 7 hours of video before the class. 
All classes require you to be able to swim 550 yards and pick up a cement block from the bottom of the water body.
