GPS Unit
Instead of following the rainbow to a pot of gold this St. Pat's Day, try finding treasure hidden in the woods around our Town, the State, .. and the world!  Wherever you go, they are hiding nearby! Learn how to join the world-wide treasure hunt!

The Beekman Library is teaming up with the Rec Department to offer you:




  • Geocaching Zoom Training  – Click on the link to get a quick lesson in what geocaching is and how to use your phone or a GPS unit to find treasures hidden all around Beekman, the state, and the world!  It’s easy and inexpensive and you can do it here, or anywhere you travel!


  • Loaner GPS Units for Beekman residents:The Beekman Library will loan out GPS units for one week at a time, to Beekman residents to supplement their use of cell phones so they can find hidden treasures!
